Essential oils are very fascinating, as they are nature's pure compounds, here to help humans on a physical, emotional, mental and even spiritual level. A lot of people are not aware about the huge potential essential oils hold, when working with them. For many people they are only known to smell good (in a perfume). More and more people though experience also their healing effects on body, mind and emotions. Very few people though know about their spiritual use. 

Sacred oil practice is based on ancient shamanic magic and ritual practice (it is not about smell, but esoteric and spiritual qualities). Only oils that resonate energetically with spirit & soul are deemed sacred. It only becomes a sacred oil when a sacred space is created and an intention is set to work with it for sacred purposes. For example, the essential oil Patchouli can be used as a Perfume in the simplest terms. It could also be used for emotional support and in its highest expression, it can be used to explore past-life memories.
